Welcome to FEF's Inaugural Newsletter
We are excited to bring our first newsletter to you and hope you will enjoy receiving up to date information on the Falmouth Education Foundation and events. Our purpose is to promote innovative educational programs and initiatives that benefit the students and community of Falmouth. We hope that you will join us in supporting our schools and community.
Falmouth Education Foundation was founded in 1993 by a group of community members committed to enhancing the educational lives of our Town’s students. Limited budget funds meant students were missing out on many opportunities. Motivated parents and community members worked together to find a way to provide those opportunities in athletics, the arts and academic programs.
Over the last 25 years, FEF has funded over $1 million in grants to various programs and initiatives within the Falmouth schools and community that directly benefit our children. In the last several years we are proud to have contributed funds for the Falmouth Memorial Library’s new teen and children’s center as part of their renovation initiative, funding for the Community Greenhouse built on the Falmouth Schools' campus, startup funds for the popular High School Forensics course, as well as numerous smaller grants that support our students and teachers. FEF offers two grant cycles each year in the fall and spring.
Please support us as we continue to provide funding for projects large and small and work to fulfill our long-term endowment goal. To learn more about FEF or for more information on how to apply for a grant, please visit our website at: www.falmoutheducationfoundation.org
